I am changing to 02 from another provider. I have been told to switch off my phone till 6pm tomorrow night. Do I put my new sim in then, I am taking my old number with me. The customer service told me to keep checking all day but the message said turn off till 6pm. not sure which is right

Once your old sim turns off you need to insert your O2 sim.

Reboot phone every hour until you get a signal.

No need to leave phone off all day.
