New postal address is not listed to complete an order

I was wondering if anyone could provide some advice in how to progress with an order when a new postal address is not appearing on the O2 system?

This address has been registered with the Royal Mail for the past three weeks and is appearing on all other websites that I’ve used which has the post code search option.

I’ve have tried to contact O2 by telephone but have been unsuccessful in getting to speak to anyone yet.

Are you unable to input the address manually? If you've tried that and it doesn't work then you'll need to call O2 and explain it's a new address.

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:

When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling,

Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.

Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options

Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.

Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen or Fraud if you have to.

8am is the best time to call

Thanks for the advice, the manual option isn’t available unfortunately and you only can select the listed addresses.

O2 operating times must can changed due to the on going restrictions so I won’t be able to try again until Monday from 10am, but I’ll make sure to try the above instructions.

Does anyone else have any advice? Is there out of hours email or live chat?

Hi @O2GeorginaI am having this same problem I spent over an hour at the weekend trying to resolve this by phone but just kept getting transferred from one person to another. Is it possible to actually become an 02 customer even if your new address that everyone else recognises isn't listed by 02
