Hi, I am looking to get a sim that has my old number on it so that I can access my Microsoft account again. I have been having the problems for a year now and it is stressful. Can this be done

@Shauna12

Unlikely, but you need to ask O2 Guide: How to find help & contact O2

Have you tried changing your number with Microsoft?

How long as it been out of use as you mentioned a year I suspect the number is out of quarantine and returned to the issuing network

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

I am unable to sign in to my Microsoft account without the number.
I have attempted to get the number on a PAYG card but got mixed feedback from O2… they were unable to do it over the phone and I am no longer living in the Uk

So I would be able to request that number on a sim if it hasn’t been reissued?

No one here can know.

As I said, it's unlikely but you will need too ask O2.

Being abroad complicates things. SIM would need to be sent to a UK address.

That's the least of the problems.
