MyO2 keep sending me authorisation code messages

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi. New customer on O2 monthly contract with Samsung J3. Every time I try to go to the O2 home page with Samsung's built in browser in the phone and try logging in to myO2 I get sent an and saying enter this code to authorise blah blah

But there is no field on the web page in which to put it.

And really maddeningly about 15 sec later I see my account details anyway so it obviously doesn't need it.

Maybe I'm just being OCD here but you have no idea how damned annoying thus is

Anyone else had this and how did you stop it !!!

Change your home page to google or something else and use the MyO2 app to check your account details.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi @Anonymous Have you tried using another browser such as Chrome?

I have a Samsung and only use Chrome to access My O2....

It's just a thought. If there are any other suggestions to the one I have given then I'm sure someone else will advise ...:smileywink:

Hi again

First, thanks for the replies.

Second, apologies as I've been a bit busy and the phone has been a little resistant to my attempts to use it.

I didn't want to clog the phone up with excess browsers so I tried Mi5's suggestion which appears to have dealt with the SMS.

It occurs to me it may be a cookie / adblocker thing as I've told the Samsung browser to be a bit resistant to trackers etc.
