I have just got off the phone with O2 support and after over an hour on the phone, have been told that my recent upgrade is now automatically going to be returned to O2. It has not yet been delivered to me, and the whole order will now be cancelled in several days.
I was told that I will need to re-raise an order after the initial one is automatically cancelled by O2. Apparently there is nothing O2 can do to reverse this and it is an issue on their end. Please can you confirm all this is correct? Currently I have paid for the new phone and increased my monthly payments but have not received anything.

Looks like you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you

This is not O2. This is a customer community. There's nothing anyone here can do regarding your issue. You need to persevere and speak to customer service again.
Call 202 from your mobile or 0344 809 0202, 0800 902 0217 (Payment Management) or 0800 032 1402
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.
