Just moved from Talk Talk to 02 on current phone and retained number. Now want to move SIM to a different phone that was EE SIM only. Tried that and getting "no network" in Settings. Is there a process for moving the SIM? Is this a swap?

Try this:

1. Insert the sim card

2. Enter 2945#*850#

3. when secret MENU window appears, select NETWORK

4. If phone ask for:

network lock - please enter NCK code

service provider lock - please enter SPCK code.

This may work with an O2 sim but otherwise try an EE sim.

The phone will be locked to EE so you need to ask them to unlock it for you.

Spent a while with EE. Very helpful and gave me an unlock code BUT the phone recognises presence of a SIM but does not request an unlock code or provide network service. (Phone had been reset.) SIM works in another phone. Any suggestions?

EE provided A 16 digit unlock code. Would that be a NCK or a SPCK?
