Good afternoon

 

Seeing as i cannot contact o2 without phoning i wondered if anyone could help me. I have received a text message today seemingly from o2 which is as follows

 

O2: we have not been able to take your monthly payment. To avoid network restrictions update your billing details via: o2support-restrictions.com

 

Im not sure why i am being asked for payment as i do not have an o2 account i have only ever accessed the free wifi hotspot

 

Can anyone shed some light on this?

It's a well known scam.
Block the number and do not follow any links.
Forward the scam text to 7726 - It's free.
Other ways to report here including Action Fraud website

O2 never text from a mobile number.
