Ordered a new O2 SIM card last Saturday and it’s now Friday but still hasn’t arrived. I thought maybe Monday or Tuesday because of the weekend but nothing. Was next day delivery and have checked mail everyday. Meanwhile O2 charged me the first monthly payment straight away on Monday for something I don’t have and can’t use 😒🙃 anyone else experienced this?

Ordered Saturday so posted Monday.

Tues, Wednesday and Thursday were Postal strikes. Now bit of a backlog.

As we are all customers here I suggest the following

Message O2 on
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB
Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Yes, I’ve gone through a couple of O2 eSIMs the last few weeks (don’t ask 🙄). They’ve consistently taken a week to turn up, despite being promised as ‘next working day.’ Likely a combination of slow processing at O2 and Royal Mail. Once you’ve received the SIM, I’d call customer service and ask for a pro-rated credit.

A good idea @KelvinS but I doubt  O2 will be interested. If they posted the card in time to meet THEIR criteria, then they will claim the postal strikes are nothing to do with them (they are correct with that) They will lay liability for late delivery firmly at the door of the post Office/ Parcelforce etc.

Still, no harm in asking and best of luck to those who try. 😉

New VOLT package taken out with Virgin on 25th November. New SIM posted 25/11, never arrived. Called O2 on 4th December, 2nd SIM posted 4/12, hasn’t arrived. Guess I am going to have to find an O2 shop and physically pick one up. 1st bill received 26/11, 1st payment taken 12/12.
