Leaving O2

Anonymous
Not applicable

My contract with O2 finishes on the 7th November 2015 I do not wish to continue with O2 as I have found a better deal elsewhere .I do want to keep my number and to follow the correct procedures to do so.

When do I contact O2 Customer Services so as not to encur extra charges . I will ask for a P.A.C. number . Will the asking of the pac number cancel the contract there and then or only when the new provider contacts them.

Bearing this in mind when should I contact O2.

Thanks for any help given.

Your contract is only cancelled when you use the PAC and it is valid for 30 days, so you can obtain it from CS anytime from the 8th October and use it around the 5th November to avoid extra charges and to get the most from the O2 contract.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Good luck and make sure you get a good signal from any future networks.
