Leaving O2

Anonymous
Not applicable

I moved away from O2 to 3 six months ago. Happened for some reason to look at my O2 pay monthly account today, and found there is still a credit balance on it. I bet if it was a debit balance they would have claimed it quick enough, but the credit balance was not refunded.

Via live chat they have promised to sort it out. It was not a large sum but it all adds up if they do this to everyone. So I warn anyone who leaves O2 - wait a month or two and then check your balance!

Quite wrong of O2

If they wanted to keep your money, why would they provide a form for you to reclaim it?

I wouldn't rely on Live Chat to sort this out for you. Fill in the form that @MI5 has provided a link for, or call customer service and speak to someone.

For all we know live chat may have sorted this out on this occasion.
The point is that o2 do provide a method to reclaim outstanding credit, which the op wasn't aware of.

That's because they are usually proven to be rubbish.

If you took the time to research the number of threads where Live Chat has given either misinformed or totally incorrect information, you'd understand why they don't get good press here.
