Just had a person phone me from a Leeds number telling me they can save me money on my O2 contract which is up for renewal, wanted to know if I was working, retired or unemployed as they had different rates for each category.  Someone called me last week from Edinburgh, the week before a call from Exeter, all offering me cheaper rates.  Any ideas please?  Thank for you help.

It's a well known scam.
Block the number and do not engage in conversation with them.
Forward the number to 7726 - It's free.

Undoubtedly a scam. There is a lot going round at the moment.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
