While I'm in Ireland and Mexico what is the cheapest way I can keep in touch with a specific number here and while they are in the USA what the cheapest way to keep in touch while I'm in the UK and Ireland?

I keep in touch with my lady and other friends in Thailand using Line, it's the preferred social media over there along with tango and Facebook.
