Hello everyone!

I have a question, should I be charged for call that I haven’t answered?

I’m currently in Australia, there is 11 hours time difference between here and the UK. Whilst I was asleep overnight I received 2 phone calls - obviously these were not answered and voicemails were left. I have been charged £2 for each of these calls. Surely that isn’t right?

If the call goes to Voicemail there can be a charge as the call goes out to your phone and then diverted back.

However this is going to depend on what roaming package you have in place

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Generally recommended to disable your Voicemail before you travel to anywhere outside the Eu Zone, @JMC1 - info here on how to do this, but note not all voicemail controls work when outside the UK: Guide: All you need to know about O2 Voicemail 901
