Insurance claim during Covid 19

Hi my phone has broken and I am unable to speak to anyone about an insurance claim? I have tried tweeting and calling and searching online. Can someone please advise what I need to do during this time as the phone is needed to contact friends and family during isolation. Please respond as I have been unable to get answers elsewhere.

I am having the same trouble. I lost my phone in Tenerife and haven't been able to contact O2 for a replacement.

Try to be patient when phoning, difficult times.
If it is imperative to be in contact quickly and if you can manage it buy cheap phone with sim PAYGO.
Tesco maybe.

Use any option to get through, even lost/stolen or fraud.
Once you get a person you can ask to be transferred.
