Im going to Mexico and want to know how to stop unexpected charges.

Rang O2 no bloody help tried on line no assistant available for online advice. I just need to know how to stop internet charges as I have wifi where Im going.  Alos how much to ring to GB

Turn off mobile data completely on your phone.
If you use Tugo over wifi it will be free to call UK numbers, otherwise the charges can be found here http://www.o2.co.uk/international/internationalhub

What type of phone do you have (android, MS, ios)?
o2 have an app called Tu which allows you to use your normal monthly allowances over WiFi.
Best bet is to turn your phone onto airplane mode, probably as you are getting on the actual plane, then turn WiFi back on ONLY.
This should avoid charges for using anything while abroad.
