I upgraded my contract phone and put my old sim I to my new phone.

I have had the old sim in my new phone and it still says emergency calls only but I get a network when I put it back in the old phone e. I cant getthroughtocustomer services. What shall I do? Thanks

My old phone was a Sony xperia and the new phone is a Huawei pro 30.

@Emma20  They both take a nano sim so the old sim card should work in the new phone. A few things you can double check:

- Make sure you put the sim card in the correct way. 

- Make sure the phone is powered off when you're putting the sim card in or restart the phone once you've inserted the sim.

- If the phone is dual sim make sure the sim card is in the sim1 tray. 

 

If none of these work you will have to contact O2 customer services directly.

Hi I've done all these things .. the sim only fits in one tray and falls throughthe other. Tha ks for your help.
