I'm on o2 pay monthly contract,going Germany for few days,do I have to inform o2 or turn on something to used my data in Germany?

So long as Roaming and Data Roaming are enabled on the phone, and your APN is set correctly (mobile.o2.co.uk), @Needinfo - you should be able to roam ok for up to 25GB in a month.

Note that if your account has a roaming bar enabled (your MyO2 will help here), you will need to remove that - O2 Social Media team links just below should help - pick one and be persistent until an agent engages. Have a good holiday.
