I have not received a item I ordered, it was ordered yesterday for next day delivery and I have been unable to get a answer from "customer service" and the online chat. The contact has already started so I'm paying for something I don't have. Also the tracking number supplied by o2 is a waste of time as it doesn't work for royal mail that was supposed to deliver the order. Can I just cancel the order?

You'll need to call customer service.

Or advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.

 

If you have tracking details it will have been dispatched and you can call to be credited for the days waiting for delivery.

As it's coming via post, you'll need to alllow for Royal Fail to do their worst too.
