Hi so I need some advice, I have a contract where I pay for 2 different things - 1) my mobile phone and the sim card associated with it and 2) my mobile internet device (i think it's called a dongle) and the sim card associated with that. I only got my contract in February 2020 but I want to cancel the mobile internet. This is because my signal is appalling and I need reliable internet and I cannot afford it anymore. I am able to pay what is left of the mobile wifi device so that's not a problem. But how do I go about cancelling it? Can I cancel only one part of my contract? and is there anything else I will get charged for because I can't afford the internet nevermind extra charges. I get my new internet on 14/1 so I'm hoping to cancel before then

No problem cancelling just the dongle, but as you say, you will need to pay off what you owe on the device.

The easiest way to do this is to call O2.

All numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling.
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
You can also try saying "Upgrade" or "Fraud" to be connected to an advisor.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
