How to turn off the voicemail?

Hi! 

Can someone, please, guide me through the steps to remove voicemail when Im abroad?

 

I dont have a Tugo account.

Your only chance is asking CS to do it for you as the short code 1760 won't work off a foreign network.
You should really do it before you leave the UK.

Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the community forum.


I keep getting told that CS cannot disable voicemail in this type of situation.

It has to be actioned by the account holder whilst in the Uk.

Why this is so has not explained.

Someone a while back reported on here that customer service turned voicemail off for him but it was only the one instance as far as I can remember. We have always been told it had to be done on the phone before leaving the UK.

Actually, customer services turned it off for me yesterday. SO yes, it can be done with O2 help.
