@Bwlmog76, @Zhivago I would wait to change sims. O2's systems are running slow right now, and some people have had problems with sim swaps and porting. Wait until things get back to some semblance of normality before doing anything. If you have service currently, and aren't having problems, stick with that. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I'm in the same position. However, when you phone 202 they say only stay on the phone if you are looking to upgrade, leave or are vulnerable. Is there any other option?

I did try the phone as it's been suggested on the community and on a Whatapp chat with O2 and all roads lead to the phone. Unfortunately, when you call you have to give a brief statement as to the reasons for the call and when you say the system says that it's not urgent and hangs up.
What I find mildly irratating is that they don't regard a sim change as critical but an upgrade is. Not having a great experience with O2 if I'm honest, what with this and my contract being increased in line with inflation. Don't have an objection to the increase, but I'd only been in my contract since the middle of February and think that the increase should have been delayed until next year.
