Hi @Anonymous Welcome to the forum...I made the same move as you are looking at (Payg to Pay monthly)

Some info here http://www.o2.co.uk/movetopaymonthly

If you want to keep your current phone you could just go for a sim only tariff...https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/sim-cards  Or if you wanted a new phone and pay monthly contract then have a look here in the O2 shop

https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/all-tariffs/

I actually phoned customer services when I was looking to change. In all honesty at this time of year you would be better going instore and make a choice there. The staff would do everything for you...Less stress:smileywink:

Hi @Cleoriff

Thank you so much for your quick reply!

Please bear me with one more question here if you don't mind... Will I be able to keep my current pay as you go number when I just buy a monthly sim only deal?

I have used my current number for many banks, shops, and stuff like that so it will be a headache if I have to change my phone number after switching to a pay monthly sim.

Best

Jenny

You can also transfer any credit you have on your PAYG sim to a credit on a monthly account, up to £250.
The biggest difference is that you have no limits to your call and text usage so make sure you don't over use the phone or else your bills could be higher than expected.

It's actually up to £350 credit that can now be transferred though I'm not sure why anyone would have that amount of credit unless someone has made a payment to mobile.

Hi @Anonymous. Sorry about my delay. After I gave my initial reply I cleared off to bed..Smiley Very Happy

However, you can keep your number (which is exactly what I did when moving from payg to contract) How to do it is shown above, Though as said, if you go instore ...then all this can be done for you when changing to contract. Best of luck with the changeover. I am sure you wont regret it. I haven't...:smileywink:

If the OP plans on going in store to do this, which would be the easiest way, I would suggest waiting until after the Christmas rush. I can't imagine any O2 store to not be heaving with customers at the moment. Best to wait until the dust settles.:smileywink:
