How long does a credit check take?

Anonymous
Not applicable

I ordered a Iphone 6 last night (gone 10pm Friday night) how long does a credit check take? Also can not see the link for tracking or anything? Is that a bad sign? As I have had a contract with O2 before and only thing that is concerning me is how long i've lived at my address. Wasn't 100% sure exactly how long so guessed will this fail me also?

When you place an order it will go into a queue to be looked at. As you ordered after 10pm it would move to the next day so I would expect a response today if o2 are up to date (wouldn't rely on that).

Credit checks are done electronically so when they get round to processing your order they will know in seconds of you met the criteria.

Keep an eye out for emails in relation to your order. Sometimes these go into the spam folder so do check there too. @Anonymous

Please also note we are all customers of o2 on here. This is not customer services and we can't access your account.

Most likely.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

The o2 online ordering system is a mess at the moment.
You would be better going in store to sort out your contract.

You still can.
Call 202 and cancel the previous order, then go in store and sort it out with them to walk out with your phone slight_smile

You can if you cancel any online order first but the cancellation takes a little time.

Don't forget places like Carphone warehouse although they can't offer the Refresh Tariff.

At least in store yiu have a better chance of walking out with the phone too.
