GiffGaff tablet sim

Anonymous
Not applicable
I'm looking for a sim for my iPad Air and I came across GiffGaff.

There prices seem ideal and i doubt o2 would match them, I've been told it runs on the o2 network so does this mean when I am in major cities I would get the hspda+ signal thing that I get on my Galaxy S4?

Does anyone also know if GiffGaff are any good?
Thanks in advance

Be sure to get the 'GigaBags' not standard 'Goodybags' for a tablet.

Note that they haven't launched their 4G service yet.

iPhone 14 Pro (O2 ), S23U (EE), iPad Pro LTE (EE), .

You should get exactly the same service you get with O2. Customer service is another matter.

I've used the internet on my iPhone and have experienced slow speeds and drop outs. Not very often but often to make me not use them as my primary network.

They did have issues with people naughty tethering for a while but that seems to being stopped.

Their customer service is via e mail only or info from their community forum.

If you want a sim only deal and are happy with O2 coverage you will be fine with GG at much cheaper rates.
Owned by the same company (currently) and runs off the same masts so the service is identical....
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

It will be an interesting time when they do release the 4g packages.
