Having just replaced my defunct iPhone 7 with a Samsung S9, on set up my voicemail is displaying one 'new'/unread message left in January (!) but on calling Voicemail there are no messages there to delete, new or otherwise.  Any suggestions as to how I can get rid of this annoying icon and it's reminders that there's an unread message please, folks?

Hi @CarnivalGirl

Call your mobile from another phone and leave yourself a voicemail.

Listen and delete the voicemail you have just left yourself on your mobile and that should delete the old one that's got stuck too.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Hi @CarnivalGirl

Call yourself from another phone or get a friend to do it and leave yourself a new voicemail. You will then be able to Press 3 and delete all. https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/All-you-need-to-know-about-O2-Voicemail-901/ba-p/547712
