So this is odd. I ordered a Galaxy S9 on O2 from Mobilephonesdirect couple of weeks back. I found a better deal and phoned MPD to cancel the order but it went through and was sent out. They recalled the phone from DPD and it got returned and order canceled.

In the meantime the deal I had found was over so I went and placed a similar order with MPD, They sent an email saying my address details were wrong even though it was the same details I'd used in the previous order and to contact O2, So I contacted O2 they say no issue, so I contacted MPD again who palmed me off so I told them to just cancel the order.

So I went into the O2 shop, a bit more expensive yes but sod it, picked my phone and failed the credit check. I explained all i'd done before didn't care failed, go away.

So how can I pass and 2 weeks later an almost then a flat out fail? I contacted O2 customer services who don't seem to know either and there solution is to pass me to the sales department so they can try again.

Hi @thehangryguy

It's probably due to the fact you have placed so many orders in such a short time.

You may have to wait a while till you try again.

Or contact customer services to order, explaining the situation https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

It's because of repeated credit checks in a short space of time.
Wait a couple of weeks and you'll pass OK @thehangryguy

They shouldn't be baffled at all. You have attempted too many purchases within a short space of time (as I said in my first post). You will just have to wait a while before re-ordering

Best of luck and welcome to the forum Welcome
