So i am able to do a new switch up on 9th December, am i correct in thinking i can basically say i want "x" new deal then literally say right i return it and cancel within the 14 day window as its a new deal and contract?
I want to go back to being a sim only and get a oneplus phone and if i understand correctly, i can do the above.

Yes, it's a workaround that works.

Good. I might do it. After the pixel 9 pro Fold fiasco and O2 complaints disgusting email to me I think after 20 odd years I'm done.

I would not do it straight away if doing it in store, take it home leave it in the box and then take it back a day or so later.
If doing it online, then good luck, but take the delivery and again a day or so later arrange the return..
Otherwise it will look suspicious and it wouldn't t be beyond the realms of o2 to start putting Fraud markers against you.
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

Yeah I was thinking I'd leave it 24 hours then go back.
Thank you
