End of Contract . .

My current O2 contract finishes today.

I am quite happy to to stop with O2, but their upgrade 'offer' for an S8 or S9 came to £1200 over 3 years

Through Uswitch I will be looking at £770 is over 2 years - even the quote from O2 via mobiles.co.uk

was more realistic !

£95 upfront, 24 months, unlimited mins and texts and 4Gb/month
@ £29/month and £20 discount,  which I calc. as  £771

If I go to O2 would they match this deal? or would I have to go through the third party 

and start with a new contract?

No O2 won't pricematch. You are better off going somewhere like Carphone Warehouse or any other retailer If Refresh isnt important to you

Edited to add that my grandson went to CPW for his S9 on a 24mth contract on O2. It was far cheaper.
