Is anyone else experiencing a problem with email to SMS notifications not being received? I use this service quite a bit, and have noticed starting today that although the emails are arriving OK I'm not getting the corresponding SMS message.
TIA.

Nothing to do with Sky, this is a decision made by O2.

I have just been on the phone to O2 customer services and they say that all customers who used the "O2 email to mobile" service were informed by SMS or email back in September that the service would be stopping on 6 November (I most certainly wasn't), which is strange as the O2 wesbite makes no mention of it and in fact still has the instructions on how to set up "O2 email to mobile". Now they no longer provide this service, I will be moving to another broadband provider, as this was the only thing that kept me with O2/Sky.

As you are an O2 Broadband customer you are unaffected, which is why you haven't been notified.

But I am affected as "O2 email to mobile" no longer works. When I spoke to O2 "Customer Services", they said that everyone who used the "O2 email to mobile" service was informed back in Sept that it would be stopping on 6 November. This was categorically not true.

You're splitting hairs, as the service is not closing down for broadband users, you were not contacted as you had no reason to be.
The reason it's not working is inknown as yet and it's being investigated.
