Just ordered a new tablet to give to my son for Uni but it looks like they're giving me an E-sim. He will be using his own sim so how do I go about getting a physical one.

Thanks in anticipation.

@cheesecake

By far the easiest, safest and quickest way is to go in store with photo ID.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

If its one of the newer iPads from last year then they have moved to eSIM only.

The likes of older iPads and the Samsung tablets can take a SIM card or eSIM.

@darrenney02 However, the customer intermated they wanted to use the O2 SIM in another device and not the iPad

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

 If you want a Tablet without an associated airtime plan you will need to purchase it from the likes of the manufacturer, Amazon, Argos and the like.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
