Ordered new phone & saw next day delivery or collect at store. Chose next day delivery as was more convenient.

Phone arrived with dpd at 7am Tuesday 6th December. Every day since I have had message saying "unexpected delay on your parcel, it is being held at the depot. This normally resolves in 24 hrs.

Delivery now due.." and the next day.

On my O2 it states my order is complete

This is not true

Can I go to a shop & cancel this order & pick up a new phone there?

@Jon_C

It's not that easy unfortunately.

Looks like you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255

Thanks

Thanks for reply. I rang dpd on day 3 but that's a bit like juggling soot. They kindly spoke to the depot who informed them there had been an unexpected delay and would be due for delivery the following day.

They are an extremely difficult company to complain to.

Plan to contact O2 tomorrow and see what can be done to resolve this satisfactorily.

Cheers again

Spoke to O2, they rang dpd & discussed the problem. They flagged it as a matter of urgency & "hoped" to get it delivered tomorrow (had already flagged as being delayed again today" if not Monday at the latest

They don't deliver at weekend which is interesting as after last Friday's "unexpected delay* message they said it would be delivered Saturday, then Sunday 🙄

Will be ringing O2 again on Monday if not delivered.

Did discuss how this may affect my 14 day cooling off period & cancellation rights. Clarification that the 14 days would start from receipt of phone.

Will discuss cancellation & reordering to collect in store in the likely event that I don't receive parcel
