Hi

I work for Tesco's and the online Guru told me I get 30% off my tariff, will I get 30% off in store or only online ?

Always a good policy to check out all that's available.

Let us know which path you choose please

Just bear in mind that any money spent paying off a standard tariff early is dead money that you are giving away to the network.

Or a trusted family member could use the year to run contract and you could set the bill to come out of their bank account.

You however would still be responsible for the contract and it depends how important that mobile number is to you.

Thank you Bambino - I shudder at the thought of giving away 12 months worth of allowances just to change a phone (hence why I like the idea of refresh), especially when there is no real need.

You might have to use a seond hand phone for a while but places that exchange phones (such as CEX) may have a grade A phone that is just like new anyway and enable you to swap phones for very little money.

Once the original contract has expired you can then take a refresh tariff from then on......

I totally agree. Much better idea to buy a second hand phone to see out the contract. I'd be curious to know where the OP can get £305 for his iPhone, as a grade A one on CEX will only fetch £255, from what I can see.

It does sound a lot but I wondered if the capacity made a difference?

O2 offered £250 yesterday
