Deposit for contract

Hi , good morning, can anyone help?
On Tuesday I applied for a sim only deal which has arrived, but I then applied for iPhone 7 contract to which I received "we need a deposit of £150 cos my credit" (yes a bad credit history and had even messed up with 02) anyway I decided to pay it. Put in card details then when the page should of said "welcome or thankyou"it said oops something gone wrong give us a call( please note I looked online and my balance was over £200 under( 150 deposit-68.99 upfront cost and 8.99 delivery) so was not declined. Now the interesting part
02 can not see my order, I have no reference or proof. Not even my bank says 02 has taken . Spoke with a 02 staff Thursday and he said 02 may have it in a holding account and will push it back after 72 hours. Has any one else had this problem?

Oh... I have since reapplied 3 times hoping for acceptance but have been asked for a 50 a 150 and a 200 deposit . Who makes these decisions if they are willing to accept a 59 deposit why take my original 150. And a 4th attempt has been straight declined

Hi @Anonymous The deposit will be held in your bank as pending whilst they do credit checks. The fact you kept trying frequently is the reason why the amount of deposit went up....You need to stop putting in your card details in and get this sorted with CS http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

Yes it's normal for money to be held and if the order isn't completed it will be returned to you.
