DPD - Return to sender? What happens now

Hi All,

I was on a phone that had some time left on the contract, I decided to grab a new one and paid off what was left on the contract.

Weird situation in that the phone was meant to be delivered today, however dpd has the status of "Return to consignor has been requested" - Your parcel is on its way back to O2

I spoke to O2 and they are unsure why this is and are trying to find out from dpd, this isn't my first order so I know all my details are fine

My question is, what happens next - will I just need to wait until the phone reaches o2's side, and then it will let me do the order again?

I'm just a little worried that something is going to happen and I'll end up losing my number.

Cheers

@SL5K - you will need to contact the sales team on 0800 081 0255 and ask them what is going on. The machinations of DPD and your returned order are not something you will be able to find out without O2 help. Good luck!

Just thought I'd do another quick post for this and provide the outcome.

I managed to speak to o2 earlier on who said it was recalled due to the fraud team not being able to contact me, looking through the interactions screen on my o2 account it seems they had messaged and phoned on my mobile broadband sim (not in use) rather than any of my main lines.

Not the best outcome, but at least I should be able to re-order it swiftly once the other device has been marked as returned.

If the fraud team can't get that right it's no wonder the real fraud cases take 18 months or more when other networks get it done in about 3

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

I’ve got exactly the same issue. Only I did ring 02 as soon as I saw the missed call and text and they have still requested the phone to be returned 🙄 also it’s all still showing on my account and the loan agreement had been recorded on my credit file. Hope you get sorted!
