I have run out of data, I have a 30gb allowance and have been at home using WiFi for the last five weeks of lockdown. How can i find out why

depending on which phone you are using there are setting thats sometimes automatically switch to 4g signal if that is stronger than the wifi signal. this is pre set to on with iphones so that could be the reason why.

What does your phone say has been using your data?
Check under settings > mobile data (or similar). That should list which apps are using data and how much.
