I recently upgraded last week with o2 refresh. I was on a 3gb tariff and now on a 15gb tariff. Today i received a text from o2 saying id used all my inclusive data. On my O2 it says i have 12.99gb left. I have tried rebooting the iphone, taking the sim out etc... ive callec customer services twice, they are really no help.

(I do not have any additional data bolt on/ promotional data when i upgraded as many other posters have had)

Your upgrade amount of data should have shown within 24 hrs. The only people who can sort this out are O2 customer services. You have to perservere with them I'm afraid https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

Edited to add, please phone and speak to an advisor. Do not use live chat.

Hope this helps and welcome to the forum Welcome

The system won't actually update until your next billing cycle so the message you have received is correct for your old tariff.

From next month it will reset to the new data allowance for automated messages.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Thank you both for replying, O2 are trying to solve the issue that I can’t use the rest of my data, they say they’ll get back to me within 48 hours...

They probably won't get back to you at all @N_salis6006 (They rarely ring back as promised)

It will require YOU to call them if things aren't sorted to your satisfaction.

Usually 8-8.30am is the best time to call O2 customer services.
