Data Charges over limit

Anonymous
Not applicable
This past month I have gone way over my data allowance. I'm allowed 6GB and somehow I used nearly 38GB! Seemingly no throttling has been used and I'm wondering just how ridiculous my bill is going to be! Can anyone advise. I'm on contract

Hi @Anonymous Welcome to the forum. You could check your usage via My O2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 or even give customer services a call https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus.

If this is going to happen regularly you may want to upgrade your tariff?

We have no access to your account so really can't be more specific than that. Sorry..

If it’s a consumer contract you cannot go over as data just stops so I assume you are on a business contract which I believe is charged at 2.5p per mb over.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

How did you manage to go so far over your allowance. We're you streaming or maybe tethering? Just wondering....
