I have just come to apply for mortgage on a house and have been informed of a defaulted payment on my account from 2016 the account was closed and we had no contact about this charge and weren't made aware upon closing it that there would be a further payment. I had not been informed of this prior to applying for the mortgage and have been an o2 customer since with no payment issues. I have settled the payment and but it won't be removed from my credit score and I now risk losing the house I have been approved for. We are moving with a little one and this has potentially ruined moving to our first family home. O2 have said someone will be in touch but it appears the urgency and importance of this issue being resolved is lost on them. Please could someone advise or put me in contact with someone who can resolve this issue. Thanks.
