Hey!

Been looking all over for this but no luck.

I'm going to Boa Vista, Cape Verde next month and I desperately need to use my emails whilst I'm there. I plan on using the £4.99 O2 Travel for Cape Verde.

Does anyone know if I actually get data signal whilst I'm over there? When I was last there I had no service at all but it was 6 years ago.

Many thanks

Yes you can use both contract and PAYG phones there

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

If you have an iPhone then you need to check that you are on the correct data bolt on for roaming.

For Android you should have no issues in connecting

For both, you need to check with customer service that there are no roaming bars on your account BEFORE you go.

You need to get O2 Travel activated before you go @liami

If you've got a Pay Monthly sim, text O2TRAVELto 23336. If you've got a Pay As You Go sim, text TRAVELON to 21300.

It can take up to 24 hours for O2 Travel to be applied to your account.

As said, give customer services a call to ensure there are no roaming bars on your account

Have a great holiday and welcome to the forum Welcome
