I am a new customer and just wondering On my o2 app main screen, where my bill value is, underneath there is a pay bill button. Can you confirm if I have to do this, or does it just come out as a direct debit?

Your direct debit should have been setup when you took out your contract automatically, but if you have a look at the email you receive telling you about your next bill, it will say if a DD is in place or if you have to pay manually.
You can also call 202 to check with customer service.

You can also check payment details in My O2 which will tell you if a DD is in place.
