I've just started a new contract with 02 - same sim - same phone however now I cant get internet (Got a 100mb in the package). I've been told it would be sorted out by now - it has not been. Been trying to get through either by phone or support chat since 8am this moring but cant.

Have you checked your service status to ensure the masts are working correctly.

Soeaking to o2 via 202 is your best avenue TBH.

 

Live Chat are a bit hit and miss with account enquiries.

 

Try cleaning your sim.

 

Try re booting your phone by turning it off and on.

 

Also re check your APN settings.

and try switching to 2g to see if it improves.

Thanks very much for the reply - status was fine and I could not get a reply form 202 as well as the full 0844 809 0202 which was frustrating me (A lot).

 

On the re-boot the signal did change from GSM to GPRS and after some false starts I can now get the internet - I still cant get through to 202 but I dont need them any more thank you again
