So I have ordered a phone online with click and collect and started a new contract yesterday. I am suppose to be able to collect my phone tomorrow. But I got an email today saying they couldn’t progress until I go into a local 02 shop and bring ID. Does this mean I will be able to pick up my phone when I go in or is this only to confirm the contract?

Normally this is the process required for security purposes. @Anonymous (it could be anyone going in to collect your order) You would be well advised to contact the shop before you go...just to ensure your phone has actually arrived instore

Nothing will progress until you satisfy the requirements of the check.
