Does anyone know if its possible to choose a mobile number from a list that's available? Either on pay and go or pay monthly.

I remember some time ago when a friend opened up a new contract she could choose from a list of numbers.

However choosing a more unique number was really expensive.

You can choose a unique number but depending on how unique it can be expensive.

The most basic ones are around £100+VAT if i remember right.

You only have to pay for a silver, gold number etc. the system will bring up about 10 random numbers in the shop. CS won't let you pick
