Go to wallet.google.com/manage and sign in.
Remove all instances of o2 billing from your payment options.
Sign out.
Go onto play store
Choose a paid app for purchase.
Go to pay.
On first pop-up with price, press the down arrow next to price,
The press payment methods.
Then there should be an option to add o2 billing.
Press it and it will add the option again for further use.
Proceed to pay for app to verify and then immediately refund if app is unwanted.
