We would like to downgrade our tariff rather than upgrade as we don't use all the data that we're paying for. Online there is only an option to increase data and under the circumstances we don't want to telephone. Can anyone help please?

Unless you are on a Custom plan there is no option to downgrade.

How old is your tariff?
Check what options you have to UPGRADE in your MyO2, not under change tariff.
