Carphone Warehouse staff discount

I have a close friend who works for Carphone Warehouse and is entitled to 30% discount on o2 for friends and family.

2 weeks ago I moved to o2 on a new contract at the carphone warehouse store and my friend applied the discount to my account. However it has not appeared and he even sent another request on saturday! I'm still waiting and now will have to pay my 1st bill without the discount. Does anyone know anything about this and why it takes so long??

It may be applied on your second bill as I think you have to pay the full amount on your first bill
