Cap on monthly bill

Had a huge calls bill for my son how do I cap the number of calls he makes?

I'm not convinced some continue to use and worry about it when the bill is generated.

That's why generally I would say payg phones are better till the person themselves is old enough to take the contract out then it's up to them what they do
