Cancellation of texting from O2 website

Anonymous

I pre-paid for texts on the website, most of which is un-used. Has my money been stolen or will it eventually be credited to my mobile account?

You will have to contact O2 and ask for a refund. O2 is not in the business of stealing from customers. I'm sure they wouldn't be allowed to trade if that was the case, would they?
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

think O2 said if you don't use your text money by the cancellation date you will lose it. Not stealing then, just confiscation!

If you were given ample warning it isn't any of the things you say it is.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Good, you're going to give me my money back then, or, credit my mobile phone with it.

regards,

John Pearson.

It appears strange that the OP has taken 9 months or so to come back on this one.

The closure of the service was announced to all those registered including myself. Any unused credit went with the closure.

Even less of a chance for a satisfactory outcome after so long. The OP just needs to move on and write this off.

Agreed @jonsie. If the OP had been that bothered they would have contacted CS last year.
