@Anonymous

Welcome to the Community. We are all customers here like you, we are not customer services. Please follow the advice from MI5 above noting that if your contractual period has ended you will need to give 30 days notice. you cannot do that on here.

We strongly recommend you don't cancel your direct debit until your final bill has been produced and paid or if you are in credit that they have refunded you.

If you wish to retain your current mobile number phone customer services or use Live Chat and ask for your PAC Code. http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Discussions-Feedback/Obtaining-a-PAC-Code-from-the-O2-Network/m-p/54427...

Also as a tip if your current phone is locked to the O2 network then unlock it free so you can use it on other networks. Http://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-and-devices/unlocking-an-o2-mobile-to-use-on-a-different-network

If you don't want to keep your number, please do NOT use Live Chat.

As @Anonymous has suggested, they are fine for a pac code to take your number to another network.

@Anonymous what do you mean you can't get through? Call 202 on your phone, select the appropriate option and speak to the advisor. It may take a while to get through to an agent, other members have reported waits in excess of an hour but that was just after New Year.

Two hours is a long time but like @Anonymous says we have known people to be waiting 1-2 hours awaiting to be connected.
