Can not redeem company code from o2

I have an issue redeeming my code and get the following error message “
You can’t get an O2 Open discount with this number as it’s been over 28 days since the contract started: 11/06/2020”

I have got a contract with 02 just today when I tried to redeem the following message came up.

I have been a customer for many years and have had phoned under a contract but returned under the 14 days period, hence I did not have any contract up to now, whilst looking for a phone I liked I had a sim only deal until I found a phone I wanted

Please help?

Hi @Rizzy73 

You need to contact O2 and ask them to help apply this for you. Sim only contracts aren't eligible so there appears to be a mix up with your new contract start date

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:

If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.

Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options

Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.

Also, press Fraud or Lost and Stolen if given that option.

It might just need a few days for the changes to catch up on the system.
